Our diverse team is focused on client satisfaction, striving for successful and on time project delivery.  Collectively our certified team has decades of combined civil engineering experience with expertise in light rail delivery spanning across Australia in the Gold Coast, Sydney and Canberra regions with exposure to both the client and contractor side.   Our first-hand delivery knowledge and expertise includes tunnels, bridges, marine works, roads and highways and rail, including consideration of both community and environmentally sensitive areas.

Earl Alcon

Earl has been the Director of Alcon Engineers Pty Ltd since Dec 2017. With more than 19 years of extensive experience, Earl’s portfolio spans private and public sectors (contractor and client) delivering projects up to $5B.

Earl has successfully led teams through all stages of delivery, consisting of light rail, bridges, cut and cover tunnelling, roads and highways, wharves and marine works, buildings, and services and utilities. Through his career, Earl has safely delivered complex projects across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.  His unwavering commitment and achievements have been recognised by Engineers Australia, the peak body for the engineering profession in Australia

Matt Mynott

Matt brings 12 years of project management and civil and marine experience with strong interpersonal skills, navigating challenging situations. Matt is a highly motivated forward thinker whose rail expertise spans two light-rail projects, on the Gold Coast and in Canberra. Both projects involved complex and nuanced stakeholder management.

Organised and detail-oriented, Matt’s management and delivery experience also comprises marine works including wharves and ferry terminals, multi-span bridges, roads, large storm water drainage infrastructure and utilities. Matt continually strives to ensure projects are delivered on time and in a safe and cost-effective manner.
